Reflections On Pokemon Black and White

I don't care how old you are now, but if you grew up playing Pokemon Red or Blue, than Pokemon still has a place in your heart. Granted, the new games haven't really changed enough since Gold and Silver (the last really great update), but if you're anything like me you played them anyways. But that really is the problem, the games haven't changed much. That's (hopefully) about to change with Pokemon Black and White, which is set to hit the streets of Japan at the end of this year, with everyone else trailing a little bit behind as always. Jostiq has translated the Japanese ad, and it was noted to say that “every aspect will be reborn innovatively.” Now tell me that doesn't excite you, I dare you. I believe if Pokemon is to do anything anymore, they need this rebirth. I mean, I play the new ones, but they don't excite me like they used to. Anyways, enough drivel; in case you haven't seen the new Pokemon, here they are:

Zoroa and its evolved type, Zoroark,

and Reshiram and Zekrom, the new legionaries.

Even though these new Pokemon just look weird to me, that may be me being biased due to having the experience of starting from the beginning of the franchise talking (though you have to admit, the new legionaries look way too similar to each other and to Palkia and Dialga). If you're anything like me (and I hope not, more of me would be a scary idea), you'll be eagerly awaiting more news (maybe even Googling it every other day or so).
